“
Anna is, far and away, the BEST writing teacher I have ever had!! She reads every draft thoughtfully and deeply, often finding layers of meaning that I am unaware of, and offers precise and brilliant feedback for how to improve it. She is much more than a teacher -- she is a coach, mentor, cheerleader, believer, recommender of great books and short stories, and a spectacular, warm, funny, generous person. It was a great pleasure to work with her on draft 3 of my novel and I can't wait to show her draft 4 because I know she will help me take it from pretty good to publishable. Anna is worth every cent she charges and much, much more -- her advice and help and insight and wisdom is priceless!!!!!

“Some like it hot, but The Blonde by Anna Godbersen is platinum-hot. From the wicked first chapter to the final outrageous twist, this extraordinarily vivid and totally unforgettable novel is on fire. Or… is it a novel? I was spellbound.”

Anna Godbersen's YA Manuscript Generator Course was exactly what I needed to get my novel to where it needed to go. The class size made it possible for her to tailor the course to the specific needs of all of the writer participants. Her thoughtful readings and exercises helped to motivate and generate more and better ideas. The time she took to comment on our pages gave us the feedback necessary to do the hard work of revision. Anna created a safe environment and her one-on-one session with me made it very clear that her priority was to do everything in her power to support us in writing a book worthy of our readers.
